Batoka Creatives and Mopane Snare Wire Jewellery are upiftment programs set up by Jafuta Foundation in response to the need for people in the rural areas outside of Victoria Falls to earn viable incomes and raise their standard of living. Based at Dibutibu, approximately 40 minutes from Victoria Falls town, the Centres of Hope are home to these groups, along with an Education Centre for children, Aboretum, Sports Facilities and many other inspiring projects undertaken by the foundation team.

Batoka Creatives encompass beaded jewellery making, sewing, felt & embroidery skills. Headed up by designer Gail van Jaarsveldt and skills trained by Ndau Collection jewellers, they produce elegant beaded jewellery and assorted homewares with an aim to provide sustainable livelihoods for the women of the Dibutibu area through the sale of skilled handcrafts. They use high-quality materials such as glass seed beads, sterling silver, gold-plated brass, fine embroidery threads, and cotton-based fabrics.

The newest project at the Centres is Mopane Recycled Snare Wire Jewellery, created with the vision of reshaping livelihoods by turning snare wire collected on anti-poaching patrols into beautiful jewellery, allowing youth to earn viable incomes and teaching eco-consciousness. .  Designer Christie Halsted Sabag is the Creative Director of this project, assisted by Obert Sipho Moyo in skills training. Over 200kg of snare wire is removed annually from Victoria Falls City and the surrounding park areas.
